Además, se encuentra en una zona tranquila, lejos del bullicio de la ciudad. El personal es amable y competente, brindando un servicio cordial y personalizado. Las habitaciones, aunque pequeñas, están bien equipadas y son muy cómodas. El desayuno, especialmente la opción irlandesa completa, es excelente y te prepara para el día.

Informal and friendly, not like a typical hotel.

The room and the place in general were extremely clean. It was also secure. This is a student residence that apparently is let out to travelers, particularly when the university is not in full session. We had an efficiency apartment with kitchen and clothes washing facilities, so it was quite convenient; we didn't have to go out to eat all the time and we could do laundry. Someone came in mid-week to change the linens and clean the bathroom and kitchen. This was by no means luxurious but it was clean and comfortable and it fit our budget for a full week's stay.

It was a GREAT stay of wedding plans- they were brilliant: fantastic location and lovely staff. I was delighted about easy check-in.

Overall - a fantastic apartment so close to the bus station, the city centre, and grocery stores. Location close to old town:)))

Conveniently located for fringe venues and central Edinburgh. Basic yet comfortable and well-equipped rooms with cooking facilities, sofa, and even a washing machine. Helpful and friendly staff create a pleasant atmosphere. Great value for money, especially during the Edinburgh festival month.

i was a visitor to the Edinburgh Festival. As such, the location was supurb. Many of the fringe activities were within walking distance. In fact, the Fringe Central was across the street in the campus of University of Edinburgh. The staff was helpful throughout.

i was disappointed not being able to get a twin bed. The bed we got was too small for two persons! As the room faces the street it was a bit noisy. There was no aircondition in the room. A fan could have been provided for ventilation. Perhaps, a vending machine for drinks would be nice.

We really enjoyed easy check-in too.

It had very dirty bathroom.

Convenient Location: Lady Nicolson Court is situated in Edinburgh's historic Old Town, just steps away from the University of Edinburgh. I was delighted to find that it was also within a 5-minute walk of the Festival Theatre, perfect for easy access to the Edinburgh Festival venues.

Road Noise: One minor issue I encountered was that the road outside the hotel was quite busy, resulting in some noise during the early morning hours. However, the provided fan helped drown out the sounds, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

We really enjoyed being able to cook breakfast before starting out for the day. It was incredibly convenient for walking to the fringe venues and the city centre.

It was a little warm since the windows are safety windows and the provision of a fan would be helpful.

It is not a hotel but a student hostel therefore there is no room service at all.

Lady Nicolson Court was worth every penny, with top-notch accommodation and all the amenities you could need. The room was bright, cozy, and felt just like home. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a quick 5-minute walk to the Royal Mile and other landmarks.

The breakfast option could be improved by offering some basic toiletries like soap in the rooms. Other than that, our stay at Lady Nicolson Court was truly wonderful.

Excellent location, close to all the Festival goings-on, lots of reasonable places to eat or buy food very close by, the staff was very friendly and helpful, excellent value for the money. Comfortable and clean. Having a washer/dryer was a huge plus.

The fridge didn't work. I mentioned this to the person at the front desk as I was checking out (no time beforehand), but it would be good to look in on these things before people check in.
